Nestled in the far corner of the Lodge lawn is a circular brick path inviting people to rest, solitude and remembrance. Many of the bricks are engraved with the names of donors or people they wish to honor or remember.

 

 

Volunteers Tine Kamphuis and Fetje Wilpstra traveled from The Netherlands to design the meditation circle in the Lodge lawn. They painstakingly laid each brick in the pathway. Their three-week project was meticulously engineered to the amazement (and gratitude) of the Leaven Center staff.

 

 

For a gift of $250 or more, we will place a brick in the meditation circle inscribed with your dedication. Your donation will help support Leaven in its mission to nurture the connection between spirituality and social justice.
