Community Rest Sessions

 
 

Wednesdays, 7:00-8:15 pm

October 2-November 20, 2024

Following our weekly Wednesday Community Meals at Leaven, we will offer a collective rest practice following the community meal.

These practices will incorporate readings and teachings one of our modern sacred texts, Rest is Resistance. But this will not be a book club: no pre-reading and no homework! Instead, we will read and reflect on a few pages together each week before engaging in our somatic rest practices.

Please bring (optional):

  • Yoga mat + pillow + blanket

  • Sliding scale donation of $5-20

Rest sessions are facilitated by certified mindbody coach, recovery mentor, educator, and community organizer Stacy Carleton.
