We are delighted to invite you to a special gathering for those who are curious about becoming members of Salt and Light Lutheran Church and Leaven Community!

This is a chance to explore what it means to be a part of Leaven Community in general and part of our faith community in particular, and to connect with others who share your interest.

The "MemberCurious" Gathering will take place at the home of Micah Gorans and Stacy Carleton. We will provide refreshments and childcare, so you can relax and enjoy the time.

The gathering will include:

A STORY FROM ONE OF OUR CURRENT MEMBERS,
who will share their spiritual journey and why they chose Salt and Light.

ONE-TO-ONES,
where you will have the opportunity to talk with another person and share your own story and questions.

A CONVERSATION ABOUT SALT & LIGHT AND THE LEAVEN COMMUNITY—
our values, our practices, and our brief history.

A CLOSING RITUAL,
where we will welcome you with a gift and a blessing.

We want you to know that attending this gathering does not mean you are committing to join Salt and Light. It is simply a way to learn more and to feel the spirit of our community. However, if you do decide to join us, we will be receiving new members on Pentecost Sunday, May 19, during our worship service.
