GATHERED AT THE MEAL:
COMMUNION AS SACRED ENCOUNTER

This Fall at Salt & Light, we dig into our core sacred practices as community: Baptism and Communion.

Together, we will ask: What does our practice and interpretation of these sacramental rituals say about who we are, what we value, and how we practice community? 

We began with baptism and continue on with communion, taking a deep dive via small groups during the week and on Sunday services, using biblical and supplemental texts to guide our exploration. 

Pastor Alison Killeen will lead the small group on communion each Wednesday at 4pm in the Leaven Chapel through November 20. Reading supplemental materials, which are estimated to take about 30-60 minutes/week, is encouraged but optional.
